The 3DS protocol is a protection that applies to the payments you make online. With the 3DS protocol, each online purchase is protected by a two-step authentication. Thus, no payment is made without your authorization.
The subscription to your Better membership is subject to the 3DS protocol. However, the monthly withdrawals from your bank account will be automatic and will therefore not require any action on your part.
