TADA is a bilingual non-profit organization that engages citizens and the business world in the empowerment and inclusion of young people from socio-economically vulnerable backgrounds.
Support TADA
In Brussels, 4 out of 10 children are considered to be socially vulnerable. These young people are much more at risk of falling behind at school (70%) or dropping out (30%). To combat these figures, TADA was set up and works through 3 channels:
The weekend school offers a 3-year extracurricular programme for young people aged
aged 10 to 13. Every Saturday, these young people take part in interactive workshops on different professional professional fields, led by volunteers who are passionate about their work. This stimulates their curiosity, motivation and self-confidence.
The alumni network offers other kinds of support to young people after they have completed their course in weekend school: homework school, monthly activities, mentoring system, internship and student job opportunities within TADA or with our partners.
A pilot programme involving monthly TADA workshops directly into mainstream schools on a monthly basis.
Key figures
TADA supports over 800 socially vulnerable youngsters (ages 10–14) each year through weekend schools in 5 Brussels neighbourhoods. More than 3,000 guest teachers and 200 partner organisations contribute annually. Over 1,500 alumni have completed the 3-year programme, with 100+ actively giving back through mentoring, workshops, and teaching roles.TADA youth show stronger school engagement and long-term prospects, thanks to early intervention, hands-on learning, and a supportive network.
Where your money goes
With your donation, TADA will fund its Weekend School Saturdays, create activities and opportunities within the alumni network and extend its pilot project into schools. (as an example)
