My Wish
My Wish provides supported housing for young adults with mild disabilities, enabling them to experience shared living for the first time and learn to live together and be independent.
My Wish consists of two collocations located in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert,
one for six and the other for seven young adults with mild disabilities.
In short, these are flatmates “like no others”.
The young people who come to live there for two or three years
simply want to learn to live like everyone else.
They want to learn this while surrounded by young people of their own age,
and to ensure that this learning is effective,
they benefit from professional support.
The house is designed as a transitional space, a springboard to other life projects.
The aim of this house? To offer a first experience of shared living, to learn to live together, to provide a team that is attentive to each individual's specific needs and to the dynamics of the group, but also to enable young adults to explore their own personal path!

Key figures
In Belgium, 9% of people aged 15–64 have a disability or health problems that severely limit their daily activities. Only 23% of them are employed.
Where your money goes
A young person at My Wish costs the community an average of €50 per day, compared to an estimated €350 per day for placement in an institution. (as an example)
