Labolobo
Labolobo fights against isolation and age-related stereotypes. They focus on empathy, respect, and solidarity.
Support Labolobo
The rapid aging of the Belgian population means an increase in loneliness among the elderly. According to a study by the King Baudouin Foundation, an estimated one million people were isolated in 2020.
Labolobo acts creatively in Brussels to bridge age gaps, promoting social cohesion. Their innovative approach combats isolation and age-related stereotypes through intergenerational exchanges, artistic activities, mobility services, a venue with a weekly program, and projects in public spaces.
Key figures
Labolobo currently reaches 1,300 people aged 3 to 103 years and has already facilitated 120 exchanges across Brussels.
Where your money goes
For every donation of 10 euros, Labolobo organizes a visit for isolated individuals, with a free fresh soup. (as an example)
